Seeking Nature: Bird Watching in Southern Maryland

Southern Maryland’s waterways and shores, forests and fields make it a nature lover’s paradise, and it’s especially idyllic for bird watchers. In addition to the birds that live in the tri-county area year-round, others follow the migratory route over our region. In all, more than 400 species of birds have been sighted in Southern Maryland.
